Masha Leuner, M.B.A. E-RYT 200, RYT500, is a Boston based yoga instructor, specializing in a vigorous Vinyasa Flow method that originated from KULA studios in New York City, and therapeutic applications of postural yoga to treat osteoporosis and back pain.
Masha started practicing yoga in 2005, and soon became a regular practitioner. As her practice deepened, she became acutely aware of the negative effects that stress was having on her body. It was becoming increasingly more difficult to balance a fast-paced corporate career, a baby at home, a long commute, and an emerging practice that was calling for her to make drastic changes in her life. In 2015, Masha quit corporate and enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training at Coolidge Yoga. She’s been teaching yoga ever since.
While Masha’s teaching style has evolved over the years, her primary goal remains the same. She believes postural yoga can trigger the body’s innate ability to self-heal, and she’s committed to bringing rigor and methodology to her classes. Masha is forever grateful to her teachers: Patricia Walden, Natasha Rizopoulos, Schyler Grant, Dr. Loren Fishman, Tom Myers and all who dedicated their lives to bring forth the teachings of yoga.
